Fast on wheels, agile over obstacles, ready for tunnel inspection and suppression
The RD-4X is a wheel-leg firefighting robot concept for tunnels, underground spaces and large industrial facilities. It combines fast wheeled travel with active legged obstacle negotiation and integrates visible and thermal imaging, gas sensing, communications relay and a compact high-pressure water-mist system for pre-entry inspection, heat-source location and initial fire control.

Wheel-Leg Mobility
The robot rolls quickly on smooth roads, actively adjusts its legs to cross curbs and debris, turns in place and lowers its body for confined access.
Multimodal Tunnel Inspection
Panoramic visible imaging, thermal sensing, ranging and gas detection return heat-source, atmosphere and structural information before personnel enter.
Close-Range Water Mist
A controllable front water-mist module cools and suppresses initial vehicle, electrical and localised fires, with optional external supply for sustained operation.
Autonomy & Relay
Remote control, semi-autonomous patrol and waypoint navigation combine with mesh relay and G-Matrix mission-system integration.
